Why Twin Pines?
The name of our practice was derived from a few different things. Primarily, we are two people trying to sink in our roots and become established. Given that New England has a large number of coniferous forests, we thought that pines would be a fitting selection. Lastly, we are both hearty, durable people that will endure. Plus, the name kind of rolls off the tongue!

"I just wanted to let everyone know how utterly awesome the vets are at Twin Pines. I recently adopted a shire mare with heaves. I had never been around heaves or even knew how to care for a horse with it. But thanks to the caring knowledgeable people at Twin Pines, I have a healthy beautiful shire mare who has so much life left in her and it is all due to their caring and willingness to be there at a moments notice.
They email me constantly to check on Merci and to see if I need anything or have any questions. When she had an outbreak, I called on a Friday night after hours and not only did I not get an answering service, the vet answered the phone and came out within 30 minutes to help get us through it all.
They are by far the best vets I have ever dealt with and I have had horses for over 20 years and am so grateful to have them in the area. I thought my days of riding Merci were over but thanks to them she is able to be ridden and enjoyed again and is her happy healthy self. Thanks is not enough but it is all I have. Thanks." - Pam Martin
