Twin Pines Equine offers short or long term externships to qualified students. Students must be 18 years or older. (We will make arrangements in special circumstances. For instance, a student arranged through a high school job shadow program). Our veterinarians will provide mentorship in all aspects of ambulatory equine medicine. However, we do require prospective externs to fill out the forms below and send them to us. Additionally, we request a current resume and proof of AVMA PLIT Insurance which is current for the year. (The insurance is only applicable to veterinary students). This paperwork must be provided prior to your visit. Transportation to and from our main office will need to be provided by the student. We do have a small futon in our office for any students that may consider staying for several days.
